| What was the purpose of your taking the exam? |
| The purpose was challenging myself. I had quite a good experience in XML and undertaking this exam certification was a good way to try out my skills, experience and of course to learn some aspects of XML I was not aware of. |
| Did you have any experience with XML prior to taking the exam? |
| I have been using XML since 2007. Nowadays in the IT field, it is quite common to work with that or XML-based technologies. |
| How much time did you put into studying for the exam? |
| About one month and during my spare time of course. |

| As reference, I found the tutorial on your website really helpful to prepare and review the main topics of the certification. |
| Please share any post-exam thoughts or advice for those who will be taking the exam. |
| You need to feel confident at least in the main topics of the exam which I think are namespace,dtd,schema and xslt. My advice is using the tutorial of this website as starting point and based on your knowledge improving the areas you are weak in. After that, try to test yourself with as many xml tests as you can so you can build up your confidence. |
