The XML Technology Certification Committee Offers Free XML Tool for Download

The XML Technology Certification Committee announced today the availability of simplified software tool featuring XML Validation and XSLT translation functions for download from the XML Master website.

The XML Master Exam assess that an individual possesses practical skills related to XML. Accordingly, the best path toward passing the exam is for individuals to prepare by studying in a format that simulates practical applications, creating and validating actual schema documents, or creating and applying XSLT stylesheets.

Accordingly, the XML Technology Certification Committee has arranged to provide simplified tool that helps individuals prepare for the XML Master Basic Exam.

The tool provided incorporates the following functions:

1. XML Validation
Validate whether an XML document created by a test candidate is valid with respect to a DTD or XML Schema of the candidate’s creation. Confirm to which namespace each element and attribute belongs.

2. XSLT Translation
Use an XSLT stylesheet created by a test candidate to apply to an XML document of the candidate’s creation, and output the results. An error message will be displayed if there are any logical error in the XSLT stylesheet.

About "XML Master"

"XML Master" is a certification program designed to objectively assess a software engineer's XML-related system design and software development skills. The XML Technology Certification Committee was established as an advisory group to conduct the appropriate examination that would be of real benefit to XML professionals in their carrier. The Committee consists of representatives from major IT vendors in Japan. The XML Master certification offers potential advantages in hiring, increasing in salary and promotions to the certificate holders.
